Lawrence's Story
Lawrence is an experienced mechanical engineer, economist, computer scientist, and software architect with an extensive technology background. He started his career in data network systems. He moved into the computer-aided engineering ("CAE") industry, revolutionizing engineering design through computer automation. He worked at many leading and pioneering companies in CAE for nearly three decades, including Telllabs, Computervision, Parametric Technology Corporation, Structural Dynamics Research Corporation, Schlumberger Applicon, Ashlar-Vellum, and MSC Software; he is experienced in numerical methods, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, neural networks, encryption, and blockchain and is recognized as a leader and innovator in these fields.
Lawrence later founded and was the managing director of Knowledge Works Limited, a UK and European software company of the Newtonian physics engineering dynamics simulation software Working Model 2D, 3D, and Nastran 4D. Knowledge Works Limited acquired technology developed by Knowledge Revolution based in San Mateo, California. Lawrence secured venture capital through the Bank of Ireland, HSBC, and Barclays and established robust sales and distribution channels for the company in Europe and the Middle East. Knowledge Works Limited was acquired by MSC Software, a prominent aerospace, automotive, and defense software engineering company headquartered in Costa Mesa, California.
Lawrence's most recent endeavors have centered around cryptocurrency data analytics for the banking industry. He has actively created distributed decentralized platforms and leveraged blockchain, machine learning, and neural networking. He has designed and developed K.i.-Koin, a cryptocurrency tracking and data analytics platform.
